Unless

Unless

How could the blind man know unless You opened his eyes?
The deaf man know unless he saw Your sigh?
The mute man praise unless his tongue was loosed?
The rich man freed unless he found matchless grace?
The oppressed man stand unless You broke his chains?
The lame man leap unless You bent down?
The woman at the well tell all unless You told her first?
The dead girl hunger unless her body was raised?
The adulterer saved unless You first forgave?
The children welcomed unless You bid them come?
A hurting lost world know unless You gave?

How could we know?
The heights of joy unless You plumbed deep the depths of suffering?
Freedom from shame unless You freely forgave?
Love unless You loved us first?

We simply didn’t know until You came.

How will the world know unless
We go?

Welcome Living Loved members. A poem or a post... I long for a moment of worship. A quiet reminder of the goodness of God that He has already filled me with to help me face the day. It is these moments I thrive on and these I try to capture. Consider subscribing or following on Facebook or Instagram for more/earlier content.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. I myself am satisfied about you, my brothers and sisters, that you yourselves are full of goodness...
