Hold me heavy

Good morning sisters. I found this poem that I wrote in a notebook from last year. Reading it, I realized just how much more "light" I'm feeling in my new home. But it was a process and I hope this poem on heaviness is a blessing to someone today.
Lord, hold me heavy
While I drown in this sea
Of all I remember
And no longer see.
Lord, hold me heavy
But don’t let me look back
To all You called out from,
To all that I lack.
Lord, hold me heavy
And soft while I grieve.
Because Your will be done
And the journey’s begun.
Lord, hold me heavy
Until I can walk,
Till smiles come easy
And faith feels like a rock.
Lord, hold me heavy
Till sands of change
Have settled and stay
Packed firm underneath.
Lord, hold me heavy
And remember I’m dust.
Teach me to dance
And give battered trust.
For one day I’ll be home
And feel roots to the core
Of all that You are
And all that You planned.
Lord, hold me heavy
Until my heart’s heavy
No more.
