Look
Lord, look at it all,
All that You’ve done!
The race isn’t won
But how far we’ve come
Through valley of fear.
Lord, you were near
Through shadow and need,
Light and joy, just a seed!
But now look what You’ve done,
Look what You’ve built.
Goodness and blessing,
Work and a purpose,
Abundance and relief,
Presence in grief.
Promise after promise
I see filled over and over.
I stagger under goodness,
I struggle to count fullness
So here’s my signpost,
My anthem memorial.
Scraping boulder on boulder
Straining under blessing —
I’ll build my altar of praise
For the way that you’ve brought
So I’ll always remember
To trust in the dark.
And I’ll tell all that will hear,
Lord, you are faithful and near.
Lord, look at it all!
Look at what you’ve done with my fear.
